A special education cooperative in Montana is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support students with diverse learning needs. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing students' academic abilities, social-emotional development, and behavioral challenges. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals, you will help create individualized education plans that promote academic success and holistic well-being.
In this role, you will conduct psychological evaluations, interpret assessment results, and provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations. Your expertise in understanding the impact of disabilities on learning will guide the implementation of evidence-based strategies to enhance students' educational experiences. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of positive behavior support plans and crisis intervention strategies to cultivate a safe and supportive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep commitment to inclusivity, equity, and cultural responsiveness. Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team are essential for success in this role. Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
State licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
