An experienced, private, in-home schooling educator is needed for a full-time opportunity!
Responsibilities:
Promote academic, social, and environmental growth of child
Plan and implement lessons and activities to engage the child in learning
Set learning objectives with input from parents
Coordinates with other BCBA therapists, as needed, on goals and behaviors, may provide transportation to the child's appointments
Compose periodic progress reports
Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the child
Participate in age-appropriate activities with the child, including games, walks, play dates, playground outing and reading to the child daily; play with child both indoors and outdoors
Prepare meals and snacks for the child during scheduled hours; clean up kitchen and dining area when completed
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childcare Development or related field of study
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the field
Minimum of two (2) years' experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Registered Behavior Technician or Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst preferred
First aid training and children/infant CPR (or willing to be certified)
Car, valid driver's license, auto insurance, and safe driving history
