Master's Degree in Special Education (or closely related field) Required.
Doctoral Degree in Special Education (or closely related field) Strongly Preferred.
Required degree must be completed by the start date.
Expert-level knowledge of the current literature, trends, and pedagogy in special education.
K-12 special education school teaching as teacher-of-record.
Experience working with students with mild/moderate and/or severe disabilities.
Experience collaborating with general educators, SPED cooperating teachers, district directors, and administrators.
Record of, or potential for, high quality university-based instruction, as well as supervising/coaching preservice and/or in-service special educators.
Supervise student teachers, interns, and other students completing field work.
Teach and mentor undergraduate students.
Provide university and professional service.
