Autism resource specialist needed for Alaska Autism Resource Center, Anchorage, Alaska. Travel to urban, rural, and remote communities across Alaska providing consultation and support to school teams, parents, and community members working with individuals with autism. Based out of Anchorage position requires travel on jet and small planes. Resource Specialists stay in remote sites for 3-5 days and travel 2-4 weeks out of a month. All work related travel is paid by the agency. An amazing opportunity to provide autism services while seeing the northern lights and the beautiful state of Alaska.
Bachelors or masters degree in special education/autism
Experience/preference for working with distance education technologies.
Experience/preference working with assistive technology
Additional Salary Information: Up to $3000 in reimbursable relocation expenses.

Low incidence disabilities include autism, deaf and hard of hearing, vision impairment, emotional disabilities, and multiple disabilities.
