The Autism Intensive Learning Center teacher will provide an instructional learning environment that includes coordination, training and collaboration with a team of paraprofessionals and general education teachers and administrators. Student delivery of services will include inclusive co-teaching, direct instruction, assessment, IEP development, program delivery and progress monitoring. The teacher will be a collaborative team member with general education teacher, psychologist, SLP, OT and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) professionals. The teacher will communicate and partner with parents in the educational process.
This position is at Bear Creek Elementary in Boulder, Colorado. Position to begin January 7th through May 24th, 2019.
This is a full time position with summers off!
Qualification Required: -Colorado teaching license with appropriate endorsement as Special Education Generalist or the equivalent or the appropriate endorsement for the student population (or CDE licensure application in process) -Completed and submitted BVSD on-line application
-Skills and experience in collaboration and co-teaching with classroom teachers and support professionals -Training or experience in serving English Language Learners (ELL) students -Technology and software skills and experience–Infinite Campus and Excent Enrich
